View Full Version : Trim Piece Needed!

Thanks to a clumbsy move putting things in my trunk, I managed to snap off the already loose trim piece that runs below my reverse lamps and licence plate.
I havent contacted the dealer because im seeking a less expensive way to find the piece
Any info is appriciated.

A good dealer will warranty it for you.

Same as CVPI 98-04 I believe.

really?? the problem is trying to find a dealer that could come up with a reason for the replacement.

Check with Ray the Dealer a supporting vendor of this site.

Can't get it. Have to get the whole trunk trim piece, including backup lights. And the MM is different from the CV, the backup lights are different.

Looks like Ill have to track down a junked NYC taxi cab and take it off there.

Without the trim there are 4 protruding squares that the trim get glued to. Unless you look closely you wont notice that its missing but its annoying me so Ill have to seek other means

same thing happened to me. I have an extra one in the garage to put on but it has some surface scratches. Right now I have black trim tape covering the damaged area cause mine is heavily cracked but didn't separate.

When the whole car is repained I'll have that piece done to match the rest of her.

A new one is around $250 from the dealer. If you need the part number let me know as my extra has the number on it.
