Pop off the faux carbon trim that goes across the dash from one side to the other (pull straight out). That will reveal several 7MM screws that support the trim around it and above the steering column. Remove the radio, the headlight switch and unplug the traction control and power pedals. The cluster has a plastic cover that can be removed without taking the cluster out.

Depending on where the bug is you may be able to get him with a thin piece of wire with something sticky on the end?? I use the black stuff they insulate A/C tubing with......Insert it through the "Trip Reset" hole and see how good you are!!??:argue: Great fun on a rainy Saturday!!!:help:

You can also blow compressed air through the same hole to move him around.....or blow him away??

Worst case is you still have to remove the cluster face!!

Good Luck!!

I had a spider in her nest in front of the speedo. I took it to the dealer and they got her out but also scratched the the clear plastic at the right side. I can't win for losing.

Maybe borrowing a lizard in a petshop and gently squeezing it so the tongue stick out?:)

Wow...that is a lot of stuff to remove to get the Cluster out. I think I may try putting the Dyson over the Reset Hole and see if I can suck him out.

Kinda feel bad though. The bug was in there whan I got the car almost 2 months ago :(
