LoL ...y'all are funny...most of us LEO's ( well, me...) see those during a traffic stop and giggle. I have never seen so many people who think its a "get out of a ticket" free ... "badge". Usually I thank them for their support but they violated the rules ... I dont usually stop someone for being a moron though...and I see that WAY TOO MUCH ...

Maybe you should. It might actually get some bad drivers off the road, and make the roadways safer. But then again isn't that what traffic enforcement is, without the politics involved?

True Marc, but in too many places (not saying that it's everywhere) enforcement sadly seems to be mainly about REVENUE with actual traffic safety taking a back seat IMHO.:shake: ;,

I can remember officers in the FL S.O. dept where I worked that didn't want to pull too many people over for traffic violations. They were afraid of getting the label of being a "traffic cop" and not a Deputy Sheriff! Most of these same deputies were the ones promoted because they were seen at high profile "incidents", even though they were out of their assigned work zones.
