Anyone heard about current sales numbers? I think we are about 10 months into this deal .I know some early figures were out but I wonder about recent figures?

Don't know about the rest of America but here in the Rochester, NY area lots of dealers that had some last fall, still have them on the lot. ($5,000 off sticker, etc) and they are still there.

Let's face reality here; without at least MARGINAL advertising support, NO ONE goes to a Mercury dealer looking for a high-performance sedan...I think Ford had already made all the sales it's ever going to make due to word-of-mouth and enthusiast grapevines. :(

Mid-January was 2900 units, it's probably up near 3400-3500 units at this point. If sales trend held together...

Sales are so good there is talk in the dealerships that it will be dropped at the end of the 2004 year. What a bummer. But with all the ad $$ no wonder.

The local LM dealer has five 300A's in stock some are almost one year old. These cars look beat from laying in the dealers lot. Just can't sell and don't seem to care. John

I will have to agree with the lack of advertising. I had never heard of the Marauder until last Saturday morning when I read a review in our local paper. I immediately jumped online to see what it was all about and read all I could find. Did the dealer search, and picked up my new 300A with CD changer on Wednesday!

Hi SheboyganGuy! Welcome. You're going to love this place, and your Marauder.

You are exactly what many of us have been talking about. A guy who would buy the Marauder if only he knew it existed!

You ought to send your story to Mercury, and a letter to Car and Driver who claims the Marauder is a loser
