I am getting a musty smell when I turn my defrost on lately. I was going to try to replace the cabin air filter to see if it helps. I did a search but didnt see any threads on it...

1. Where is it?
2. How hard is it to replace?

Thanks for your help!

The Panther platform doesn't have a cabin filter. Try turning the defroster on high and spritzing some Lysol down the cowl air intake.

No cabin filter on MMs.
You might want to take the fan housing off to see if some leaves etc. are composting in there...
Febreze sprayed in the vents might help too.
I think we have some professional detailers around here, any comments?

I vaguely remember a product called Ozium that worked well when I was a kid. It effectively killed the smell of some buring plant material.

Two big bowls of Brunswick Stew from Williamson's, followed by a large chopped pork and lots of bbq beans. Give it about half an hour to perculate.

You wont smell the musty smell again. Or much of anything else, for that matter.

Don't ask me how I know this.:o
