How many Marauders in 1 day!

I managed to see 2 other MM's today, (guess Central NJ has a higher MM density :-)

1. Crusing down Route 9 after freshly washing my baby, i noticed another MM sneaking past among the more mundane vehicles, at the light we exchanged knowing smiles and thumbs up's, that was nice. We drove on checking each others chariots ( or "armchair on wheels" as my wife calls it ) out from front and back. It's nice to be able to see an MM driving from the outside!

2. Pulled into a Dodge dealership (why? don't ask!) and there was a shiny new MM in the customer parking, hope he wasn't doing a trade in (unless for a viper ;-)

on a side note, i've seen 3 other MM's during my commutes with dfferent drivers. My favourite was on the Garden State Parkway, driving home a noticed a car pull up behind me in the fast lane, i looked in the mirror and saw a policeman, he was behind for a couple of seconds then overtook me, sat in front of me, so we could admire each others cars, then speed away! I've seen him twice on occasions now. Must be fun after driving all day in the police cruiser to switch to the MM for coming home :-)

Hi Mike,

I'm in Old Bridge, all the (moving) Maruaders i've seen were on the Garden State Parkway during rush hours.

My rule for when to sell my car is when i drive and manage to line up with 2 other exact models. So far i've only lined up with another MM at the lights (thank god ;-)

I sold my 99' Impala LS (just like the MM, bought it as soon as it came out, and was the only one i saw for a long time), after i was driving home and saw two other silver LS's....so i had to go in the 3rd lane....there we were....3 silver LS Impala 99's in a row n 3 lanes doing 65mph....TOO COMMON TIME TO SELL!!!!! :-)

Guess its time to get rid of the Lightning as we lined up with 1 red 2 black 3 silver and a white one at Norwalk last year.

I have only seen one other on the road. As Big Dog stated "there were 13 at the NY Meet" on March 15, 2003. We hope to top that at our next meet. John

I know of a few that were sold around here, but haven't seen another on the road yet either.

Maybe as the weather improves, they'll all come out

Hey guys, I'm in central jersey (Howell specifically) and see three Marauders daily. A black tinted MM that speeds all over, a blue MM with a chick driving, and a black MM with a 75-plus year driver.

Not too shabby... makes proud to be one of the elite.

I have never seen no more than one in a day. And as it is, I see more Marauders that CV Sports. Other than mine, I've only seen 5 other Sports in person in the 18 months I've had my car. I've seen at least 10 Marauders since their release about a year ago. :D

From what I hear, Mercury made about 15,000 Marauders for 2003 and Ford only made 2500 CV Sports for 2002. That probably expalins why I never see any.

The most I have seen in a day is one. And I that happened twice...in the same area....I am pretty sure it is the same person.

First time was a day before I bought my MM. (Took is as a sign from the Gods- Mercury of course)

Second was Sunday I was at a light..and the MM went racing by....

That is it.....

I see one every day, mine. Sometimes, though not often I see two. Never saw any more. Saw one pulling a boat northbound on either I-75 or I-81 in northeast TN back in November, that's probably the one that sticks out most in my memory.

If you all wanna see a flock of MM go to Detroit and hit Belle Isle on a weekend... Ive been there a couple times so far this season and counted 12 besides mine.

I have scen three MM's off the dealer lot total in a year. I have only scene one on the road.
