I remember reading in various threads that there are a few extra valve covers floating around for free((I think) or pay shipping or something like that). Does anyone have a set that were being passed around? Thinking of a project. DTR valve covers, chromed, satin or highly polished finned coil covers with the fins and 4.6L 32 Valve being DTR.

$385 shipped. Not too fond of the badgeless grills. JMPO, but thanks for the offer Zack.

I , too, would be interested in a set of covers. If there are 4 laying around somewhere, let me know as well. (4 meaning 2 for him and 2 for me)

I'll have a set available towards the end of the year.
Hotmarauder sent me his, I promised them to Rich Long to pick up at Sebring.
When I get them back from him I'll be doing the covers and the upper intake.
So I'll post when the set is freed up.

Yep... I'm hoping for a quick turn around, too.
I'll be looking for an upper intake also, if anyone has one I can Powder the v/c's upper intake and the other items I have in mind for the color shot!
One of the Trilogy guys has got to have one..... you'll get the one off my cagr back to you, I promise!

I have a pair that I will have to recover from a buddy in Tucson if someone wants to "borrow" them.

Soon as I get my new covers on I will have a second pair. That could be another month before I get that done tho.

Sorry, Jim Lambert and Rich Long have my pass arounds scheduled but I am sure that a swap around can be reached depending on timing. I know that Jim is bringing them to Sebring to give to Rich. I believe that Jim's project isn't scheduled till fall and Rich's is on for late April;-May I think- so maybe you could get into the middle between them? Send a PM and check it out. Might work. Dennis:) :) Good luck.

How hard is it to remove the valve covers? Are there bolts on the backside of the heads?

None on the back side of the head but to get the right side off you might have to raise / rotate the engine.
