It's getting to be time again. Some XXX Root Beer and a burger sounds good! Anybody have a weather crystal ball? Still talking snow this week. The last week end (Saturday 3-26?) in March is usually ok! Anybody else??:)

Hi All you NW MM's. I'm new to the group and this sounds GREAT. I live in West Seattle and I think I can make this event. Took the step in January and know own a 2003. The car is in a custom color it's metallic gun metal gray and black inside.

BREMERTON RACEWAY:
March 26 Test & Tune Northwest Pro Street Association (NPSA) Meet #1

Pacific Raceways:
Mar 26 Sun Open Test N Tune Cash Bash - PR MC #2 - JR #1

Of the 2 Pacific Raceways is more central to everyone, but I am curiouse how the beast will do at Bremerton. From what I remember, the farther down the track you get, the steeper it goes down hill. Might be worth a tenth of a second if the track prep is right. :)

Either way, need to get Mrs T's car down the track to see how much she picked up over stock. :D

Gates Open: 8am
Racing: 9am-5pm
Pacific Raceways Accepts Visa, MC, Cash and Checks (must have Valid NHRA Membership Number to write a check)
Spectators:
Adults: $10.00
Children (Ages 7-14): $4.00
Children (Ages 6 and under): Free
Senior, Military and Students (with proper ID) receive two spectator entries for the price of one Racer:
Car & Driver: $25.00 (Some classes more)
Competition Number (required to race): $10.00 (one time yearly fee)

If you have previously run this year and already have a competition # then the entry fee is a straight up $25.00 for our class....plus fuel costs to and from the track....plus an additional $10.00 if you bring the wifey.....plus another $20.00 for grub at XXX. See where I'm going with this. Trust me this is still cheaper than running a car in Super Pro!

Weather report is calling for rain Sunday. :(

Well, I've been looking out the window for 55 minutes and checking the weather. I've check all sources and cannot find anyone that predicts anything other than rain. They say it is moving in from the south. I'm 50 miles north and it looks like it will be here will in an hour.

TEAMROPES MM IS FASTER THAN MRSTEAMROPES MM by 2 tenths of a second. :P

We got 2 runs in before lunch and the rain. I didn't bring a funnel or a gas can to get the 3 galons of this crappy 92 octaine up to snuff, so I couldn't load Lidio's race tune. I added 8 gallons of 100, ran Lidio's street tune, and still ran a 14.325 with everything still in the car and 5/8ths tank of fuel! The conditions would have been perfect for a new personal best, but I'll know better the next time.

I have welded my own cams not a problem. The rear cams are much harder to get done. You must remove the intake manifold which is about a 4 hour job off and back on. The welding takes a hour if you know what your doing. I found that the material weld very nice. We have had the car now for about 4 months and the family really loves it. You can pick them up pretty cheep $3,000 to $7,500 but try and find a low milage one there will not be as much were and tear on the inside..
