View Full Version : Do There Exist Any "Stand Alone" Mercury Dealerships?

Hello,

Is anyone aware of any "stand alone" Mercury dealerships? In other words, do any Mercury dealers exist that are not part of a "Ford-Lincoln-Mercury" or "Lincoln-Mercury" enterprise? They could potentially exist exclusively, e.g., "John Doe Mercury" or as part of another group of franchises, e.g., "John Doe Mercury-Mazda".

On a similar note, is anyone aware of any "Ford-Lincoln" franchises, e.g., where the Mercury franchise is not present?

I am not asking for any particular reason.....just simply wondering.

Thank you!

Never saw one. All I've seen are LM dealers. John

Not in all my travels I have seen a "stand alone Mercury dealer".
It is after all part of a group.

Lincoln Mercury has been together for as long as I can remember.
Never have seen them separate.

It comes down to broad area sales you can not make it this day and age on just one line of vehicle but have to have multi in order to have any profitability. There might of been one when Mercury first started but not now.

We passed a Ford/Mercury Dealer in NC yesterday. I almost stopped but I just wanted to get home.

You'll most frequently see Mercury branded with Lincoln, but it does exist branded with other Ford brands... Mostly in very small, rural markets though

Did anyone look at that website? If you go to it and look for the Marauder it is totally wrong.

They say it comes with a SOHC, 16 valve engine producing 224 HP. LML covered the rest of them.
