Supercharger RAFFLE!! (http://www.mollyguard.com/event/23558464)
The MCM has decided to commit this raffle to being Marauder only. That means that we will not be opening up the raffle to the F150 and Mustang sites. We understand by doing this that we will not meet our target ticket sales to fund the Dream Cruise Regional Event. So, in return, we simply hope folks consider this when deciding to buy a ticket or not, and know that every ticket reduces the higher cost of event attending members.
Given the number of tickets sold so far (88), the odds of winning a SC in this raffle with a single ticket is still totally outstanding!!
But, we are now going to spice it up further with a "Buy 3, get the 4th Free" Special. That's right, buy 3 and get #4 FREE!!
Yes, all those who already purchased 3 tickets will get their 4th Free ticket as well.
Thank You to all those who have entered the raffle thus far. Its truly appreciated by the MCM and WDC event guests!!!
APRIL 1 APPROACHES! THE TIME IS DRAWING NEAR!

We will add another ticket to your name on the Master list. The company that hosts the auction where you bought your first 3 tickets provides us a list of every ticket sold by name and email address, as administrators we can reaquest another one be added in your name. There are no physical tickets issued out, your paypall transaction is your reciept.
This is a great chance to increase your chances!

What we will do to make sure everyone is comfortable that they are receiving the correct number of tickets issued to their name, we will be creating a master list of all entered names and the associated number of tickets for each name. We will post this master list here on MM.net a few days before the raffle for review before the drawing.
EDIT- In addition, for the 4 for 3 special, I'll create a list at the begining of this thread for everyone who particpated in the bonus prgram. I'll put the list together soon and keep it updated.

My iron will and indomitable resolve to maintain an actual budget has once again been shattered but the lustful pursuit of speed and performance.
Through some creative fiduciary prestidigitation I was able to secure funds for ticket #2 and ticket #3. I am glad I like garages... I'll be spending a lot of time in mine.

I'll try to sneak you in a candy bar and pack of smokes while your paying your dues in the garage:)
Then again, if you WIN, being in the garage just might work out okay ;)
Thanks for your support!

Okay, at the behest of my screaming credit card, I've purchased a third ticket. Good luck to everyone who's in the raffle!

Hopefully someone who can only afford to buy one ticket wins....the likelyhood have that happening isn't very high now.

That is what happened last time...1 ticket and we have a winner.

So...I am not worthy of winning because I bought 3 tickets??? Or how about the fact that I'm most likely attending the WDC in August and I'm supporting the cause? What makes someone who only bought one ticket more deserving?

no, that's not the point.....you bought 3 tickets, which is great..... but get 4 chances just because you bought 3. What makes someone who bought 3 tickets deserving of an extra free chance at this late point in the game?
But that's just the way it is.

Things to keep in mind:
The raffle odds were set at the beginning to be 1 ticket having a 1:150 chance. These odds were set by capping the number of tickets to be issued. This has not changed. There was no guarantee that we would ever have less than 150 tickets in the bowl. Therefore the odds are not changed by the 4 for 3 deal. An individual ticket holder still has no less than a 1:150 chance of winning.
In fact, even with the special, it is unlikey we will have 150 tickets to put in the bowl. Accordingly, individual ticket odds will be better than originally set.
The 4 for 3 is open to anyone. We have plenty of tickets available.
Last time we did the same thing....and a single ticket buyer won!!
That said, RC, I appreciate your input and offering a chance for additional explanation about the odds. Your question was valid indeed.
EDIT - Edited for clarification.

Thank you Mike. The impression I had from this new offer was that the ticket limit would/could now go over the original stated number.
Of course there is still a chance you will end up having to do that, but hopefully not.
Getting a free ticket is nice if you can afford it.
