Just curious if anyone as broke 100k yet with their MM's.
I'm at 33,500 right now. I've got extended coverage till 75k/2009. If I don't have to many problems along the way I'd like to keep this for a long time.

I have driven mine for over 87000 miles. Every day, rain or shine. Only some minor mods, running low 15's in the 1/4 mile and I have the 100k/5yr. coverage.
Thanks,

Must be the canadian winters. The only real problem my car had were minor electrical problems. Sometimes if the car is launched hard after it is just started, or driving really slow, the car will stall out. It's really rare and I'm sure it's just a loose wire somewhere. Other than that, no problems on mine. Are both of your car 03'As by chance?

60k, 70k miles? I've gotten too anal already about putting 6K miles on mine in less than 4 months that I've got my old 95 Saturn SL2 out of my storage unit and having the engine and axles replaced so I can have a beater. Honestly I feel really bad for putting that many miles on my car so far but I have enjoyed every second of driver it and now that warmer weather is coming I bring my Mustang back out and drive that. Only has about 5K miles on the new motor and tranny since 08/03 cause I only drive it on the weekends, drag racing and to car shows. My truck has almost 4K miles on it and I bought that back in 10/05.

I don't consider it a major problem because it's so rare in the event that it actually happens that I don't really care. I think it's related mostly to cold or colder starts. That and bad gasoline. The week it really started acting up was after the hurricane Wilma and we had a huge shortage of gas availabe in Florida and I was using el cheapo Costco premium to fill the car. Since I switched back to regular BP gas along with Shell and Mobil, it hasn't reoccured. Once in a very rare blue moon it will reappear, but that's about it.

Mongoose/Paul,
With that many miles have you guys had any mechanical problems....trans....rear end (limited slip working).....water pump....A/C or has it been pretty trouble free??
Most of my "high mileage" CV's had no problems except for the 2000 model that had the notorious axle problem but they even lasted 150K miles or so!!:bows:

I think I got the other end of the quality spectrum from TTA. Nary a non-self-induced problem for me. Except for the stinking radio. But then again, I pretty much baby the thing. Burnouts in only 37 states, only 230ish timeslips, that kind of stuff. Maybe that's the key. I dunno. :dunno:
