OK, we've had lots of threads on waxes, etc. BUT . . .

How about the bumpers/fascias? What do people use to buff those plastic parts down and make them shine?

I've been told a really fine buffing compound will work nicely. Anyone got some tricks for removing scuffs, marks from sand and pebbles, etc.?

Thanks!

The same soap & wax you use on the rest of the car.

Color specific POLISH works pretty good on my white CVPI. I also used it on my ole black Cobra.

It is made by Turtle Wax and goes on like wax. After you "polish off" you wax as usual. My cars come out silky smooth and look like liquid.

Ditto...I treat the facias the same as any painted surface. I've had the misfortune of letting a drag radial slip from my grip while getting it into the trunk, and that left a blem. But I hit with my buffer and it went away. I would be very careful with anything stronger than a cleaner wax, I don't need to see the native yellow PVC.

Ditto with everything said above. It's painted, it has a clearcoat, it gets treated like anything else. Paint Cleaner, Clay Bar, Carnuba, name your poison.
