THE FORD MOTORSPORTS ENTHUSIASTS INVITES YOU TO ATTEND THE 11TH ANNUAL FME OPEN HOUSE
THURSDAY APRIL 27, 2006 AT THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY WORLD HEADQUARTERS IN DEARBORN, MICHIGAN


The 11th annual FME Open house will take place from 3:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2006. We invite you, your families, Ford Employees, Suppliers, Contractors and Motorsports Enthusiasts to join us at the Ford World Headquarters to celebrate the Automobile and view some of our past, current, and future products. Company Vehicles will be on Display, along with our Members vehicles and perhaps some special surprises I just cant talk about right now.

This particular Thursday is also Ford Bring your child to work day. What better way to finish up a tour of your workplace for your son or daughter than to take them to World Headquarters and show them some of the best Detroit Iron to ever roll off an assembly line.

The event is free for all to attend. Those wishing to attend MUST RSVP to me NO LATER than APRIL 21, 2006. In your RSVP please include your name, the names of those in your party and where we can best reach you. Contact information will be kept private by FME, however the names of those in your party will be given to security to clear you through the gates.

For those of you wishing to display your vehicle at open house, space is available, but very limited. Please reply to me if you are interested in displaying. Include a description of the vehicle, anything special about it and if there is anything additional to display besides the vehicle. Tables and chairs are also available for informational booths. Requests will be processed in the order they are received until we run out of space. DEADLINE TO REQUEST TO DISPLAY A VEHICLE IS THURSDAY APRIL 13, 2006

Directions: Ford World Headquarters is located at One American Road, Dearborn, Michigan 48126. The Glass House is on the North East corner of the intersection of Southfield Freeway (M 39) and Michigan Avenue (US 12). Parking is available in the lots North of the building and may be accessed from the Northbound Southfield Service Drive or Michigan Avenue. Access to the displays inside the building is through the NORTH Entrance only.

This is a fun event if you can make it. They will have a spot for our club to park the Marauders. If you are signed up as a FME member, you should have gotten an email with all the info, including contact info as well as the parking release form for security. If you need help or have any questions, let me know. Lets start out the year with a great turnout! If you are agoing for sure, and have registered, post up in this thread so we can start a list. There will be a special area set aside for the Marauders.

The official announcement is out for Open House... ...Have the MCM members who want to bring their cars to display RSVP to me and make sure they put in that they are with MCM, I'll have Sue stick them all together.

The release form must be signed by anyone bringing a vehicle. The Procedures document only applies to the vehicle going into the building. Once the members RSVP with their vehicles more information will be provided.

Providing Ford doesn't change my down week, which at the very slow rate Expy's and Navigators are selling, I will be there around 4:30ish. Myself and Kendyle(I have to pick her up from school at 3:48.

Well,I got the E-Mail about it so I guess Im in the club.But I haven`t got anything in the mail that says I am.Im in and I would like to park my car with the club also.

Paul, DJ, and anyone else that wants to go...make sure you RSVP with FME, just reply to that email to John. I am keeping track on who is going just for the sake of us knowing. You must RSVP as instructed in the Email invite, not me. Be sure to mention that you are with the MCM and that you want to be parked with the group.

I believe they take apps to join all year. You just want to make sure you are a member before the event.

I got my membership card about a month ago. It has no membership number on it. I got everything when I joined but I did not get the e-mail of this event.

I think I know of one car they will be displaying in the hallways of the Ford World Headquarters.....

There will be an area in the lot just outside where they do a car show of sorts. RSVP and tell them you have a Marauder and want to park out in the lot with the other Marauders.

I will definitely be there with the boys. Joined FME, just waiting for the package. I plan on displaying the Marauder with the rest of the gang.

I will have to respectfully back out. Ford changed our lay off weeks from Apr 3 & Apr 24 to Apr 3 & 10. :rolleyes: Maybe next time.

I've rcvd my membership card and pkg, but, no e-mail in regards to this event. I e-mailed them thru their contact tab on the home site a few days ago with no response yet. Do you have another link or orig e-mail from sender that I can RSVP to?

I spoke with Joe this afternoon, they plan on having the rest of the confirmations out tonight or tomorrow morning. I hear that our club will be parked with another club, I think he said the F-150 Harley club. One member will be parked inside the Ford World HQ this year. Sounds like a great time.
