It seems that this summer will bring a change in gas to our cars. It will cost more but will be more harmful to our engines. Here is the article:

Its the annual cost of gas :bs: that occurs every year around this time. Seems the "gas is gonna get more expensive" folks are running a little late this year --- I expected the news in late February. Just prepping the public to bend over again.

The only note that I saw regarding "Bad Gas" was near the end talking about water in the underground tanks. From what I understand, there is ALWAYS some amount of water the settles to the bottom of these tanks anyway since water/condensation is heavier than gasoline.

Bad Gas ---- guess I'll get some Beano for the MM. Gotta be prepared. Other than that ..... I don't think there's much I can do. :dunno:

Looks like I'll be ordering up my drum of 100 unleaded sooner than I thought.

That bad rap on Ethanol is just a load of Hooey. I've run 93 Ethanol in mine since the beginning and I get just as good gas mileage as anyone else reported on here. I never have gas line freezing and I've never had that rotten egg smell that other gasses get.

Now, if it helps sell our Iowa corn, so be it!

As have I. No problems from using the ethanol over 53000 miles.

This is all just a bunch of hype so that when prices DO go up they can give a convenient excuse. It's a load of crap, honestly.

Ethanol based fuels 10 to 15% have been used here for
years..cleaner burning,higher octane rating,alcoholbased
you don't need gas line A/F..slight reduction in fuel mileage..
The article is all hipe And BS..if a gas station has that much water
in there tanks they have a ground water leak..They would
be closed before the end of the week if the ministry of the
enviroment heard about it!!
personally I'd rather support the Farmers than
the Arabs!!
