To my knowledge, there are no bolt-on "cat-back" kits...the only pre-fab kits are Dennis's Cobra and the Kooks...I think Stainless Works just makes headers, but I could be wrong there.

PHP was working with Bassani to develop a cat-back system for our cars but when it was going to cost $1000 or more and had ZERO HP gain they canned the program!!
I begged them to sell me the prototype but they wouldn't and probably just cut it up and sold it for scrap!!
The real problem is that our OEM system is pretty good....flows well....sounds good and doesn't drone!!:bows: They really couldn't improve on it so they moved on.

Most of the restriction seems to be in the Manifolds and Cats.....so..... that's all there really is available.

Yep and with the cold air box PHP could claim a power gain while the exhaust did nothing except make more noise which may or may not have been a selling point??
I would like a bit more rumble but not the DRONE associated with it!!
I'm leaving mine as is for now.

Ok second question then, any h or x-pipes that will bolt up to the factory manifolds? Then have custom rear section made of course.

Yeah I figured their wasn't a aftermarket company that made one but I thought I'd ask. I was just trying to see if I could replace part of the system for now because I am leaning towards doing a turbo setup and don't want to have to pay for headers that I'm only going to use for maybe 4-5months. I guess I will just have a custom system bent from the cats back for now.
Thanks,
Chris

What is that doing on the ground?? Shame on you, that should already be on the car  I'm sure you already have it on and if you do how do you like it?

Just out of curiosity.....why would you go with a turbo setup when the tried and proven Superchargers are available??
I had a Mazda 626 Turbo years ago and had problems with bearings and heat plus I don't think it was intercooled so boost was limited.

What is your reasoning for wanting an aftermarket Cat-Back?

just have someone make you one. I would go before the cats, and put in high flows, Both my Marauder and my Cougar have custom exhaust. There are alot of good pipe benders out there, give em some beer money :D

I like em the day i first drive it.i also have the ceramic coated cobra exhaust manifolds too and ahve changed everything to 2 1/2 " and 18"magnaflows to (Soon to be deleted tips (http://innovativeinterceptors.com/exdress.html))the stock tips..The only problem i've had was the heat sheild fell off one of the cats..

Marauderjack:bandit: Because I've always liked to be different and what way to be different when everyone has or will be getting a s/c than to go with a turbo setup. Especially the shock factor when I pop the hood and show a turbo when everyone that knows most marauder's have a s/c. Plus with the proper tuning and mods I can pull more power out of a turbo than with a s/c which is what I want my end result to be. I know the PTK system isnt intercooled but if I'm going to spend that type of money I will get a local shop that does custom turbo work to get me set up with one. I talked to the shop and they are very eager to get their hands on a turbo marauder and see what kind of milestone they can set. I had them do a custom turbo on my first car which was a 1988 Pontiac Grand Am with the Quad4 engine and I ended up with 328fwhp and 271tq.
