April 15th !! - People From Iowa

this april 15th (saturday) cedar falls raceway (drag race park) has its opening day, i already requested it off and i will be there, hoping some of you in iowa might be interested in going to, i know there are some guys around there and maybe some guys in DM or around would want to make the trip

I would be interested. Would give me good reason to get the stock wheels and tires and some cleanup done prior to then. Would love a chance to hang out. And hope John has his car done by then!!!!

According to our friends at Google....Minneapolis to Cedar Falls, 223 mi (about 3 hours 47 mins).

Minneapolis is WAY shorter to CF than the map time listed. We have new 4-lane highway in IA for most of it now.

Hopefully I will have my converter in this weekend. If I can see clearly now (i.e. the rain/snow is gone) then I will swap out the tires, too and change out the plugs.

Wanna help? I may buy those densos if mine are shot.

I should also add that most April dates get rained out here. Not telling anyone not to take the say off or anything, but don't be disappointed if things don't work for racing. Last year we had several dates rained on.

even more people i know are going, and i just realized that its on easter weekend so most people should have it off anyway, hopefully easter woulnt screw up plans for still being around for some people
