This is a dead pedal from a 87-93 Mustang.

Could this be adapted to work in a Marauder?

Yes the Ford Motorsport dead pedal ( part# M-61120-A -Obsolete- ) can be adapted. *Which is what I did.

Read about it here (http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB2&Number=822261&Forum=UBB2&Words=dead%20pedal&Match=And&Searchpage=0&Limit=99&Old=allposts&Main=821964&Search=true#Post822261) <<<<< -click-

BTW ... The Ford Motorsport dead pedal was introduced in 1984 and fit ALL fox body vehicles (and then some ... installed one in my 1987 Ranger ).

Yes it can be used. Here it is installed (with the DynoPro pedal covers) in my '04 MM. Had to modify the kick panel and move some of the wiring, but it can be done. I used SS bolts, washers and nylock nuts to secure it.

Was there a way to use it and move the pedal forward away from floor?

Yes, but you'll have to drill 2 holes in the dead pedal brackett. Mine works fine the way it is. I'm 5'11" and I have the seat as far back as it can go. Did alot of test fitting before I drilled any holes.

You know ---this begs the obvious question......and I have to be the one to ask...........who is the leprechaun marking those "test" spots. when your sitting there positioning your foot....

Just proped the dead pedal up with some scrap wood..... or I guess you could use a leprechaun w/ rigor mortis......

The pics I posted are deceiving. The dead pedal is about 4 - 5 inches away from the floor.

Thanks for the info, bought one from ebay. Me too! I need one for my #3 MM and Kenny Brown is out of business.

I hope no serious mods will be needed to fit it to the Marauder.

The pedal looks identical to the one KB supplied (might be the same one) but he also provided a custom bracket that connected the pedal to the emergency brake release bracket mounting points IIRC.

It's been awhile since I put mine in but I believe my IIRC is correct.

Ah, excellent, that will be perfect. There are several available on ebay.
