Hello,

Has anyone heard any more information lately regarding the 2004 Marauder as to whether or not Toreador Red (or a similar color) will indeed be offered and if/when the sunroof option will come to pass? Any other tidbits regarding the 2004 model are appreciated!

Zane, I heard they were offering 2 new colors every six months, or summat like that...we've just had blue and silver, so following that line, Toreador Red may offered this fall (along with Mary Kay Pink?... :eek: )

As for a factory sunroof? I sincerely doubt it; especially if 2004 is going to be the last year...look at all the stuff they took off the car to add traction control...

The 2004 will offer 456HP and 493ft-lbs torque via a super charger. The tranny will be a 5 speed manual. It'll also come with a facotry "flamming tips" option...

Oh, sorry, dreaming... Umm... Red is next yes, but I heard they're dropping a color for red? Blue hopefully? I dunno... As far as anything else, doesn't look like it, possibly some tranny program upgrades?

This is probably a stupid question...but...can a after market sunroof be installed that actuates like a factory...ie...electric that will pop up and retract into the roof...and yes I do not know...so don't ask...but a honest answer will be apreciated...would love to have one...like my SHO...thanks, wranglin

Yes, I have a ASC roof and it is just like my wife's factory one in the taraus. It even has the option of automatic close the car is switched off. I just lost the eyeglass holder.

You mean like this? Mine is a Webasto unit, same as what they put in the Marauder S-55 show car. Pops up, and retracts. Also has auto-close when you shut the car off. I love it. Especially since the weather here has been in the low 70's all week!

racerx88 - that looks great... but you gotta go out, buy a dremell and get rid of those faux-chrome hockey sticks off the front grill. The more I see that OEM from badge, the more I hate it. I did mine and is looks sleek.

A blacked-out front godshead logo badge will add 3 HP, give or take 1 HP.
