I have not driven it enough to give much of a review. It rides alittle harsher and the back end feels more solid around turns, very firm and I think it reduced the body roll. Will update later, but until then check out the install pics...

How long does it take to install the drive shaft loop ?

About 30 minutes. Remove the front inner seat retaining bolts from both front seats, replace them with the supplied bolts (longer), remove the drive shaft (remember to mark it so it goes back in the same position), bolt up the hoop, replace driveshaft.

Interesting that you too should say your ride with the Metco control arms is rougher. I too have found the ride harsher, but by now I am used to it. It does control the car in turns very well along with the Metco Watts linkage and really plants the rear hard on launching. I also have the Metco drive shaft loop which is another good safety mod.

I'm waiting for my loop ( Tuesday ) and have the Metco arms.
They did make the ride a bit stiffer, but I like it.
I remember when mine looked as clean as your's...

Just got some more driving in. I really like them.

First, the change in the ride. I am one of those people that prefer 40 psi in my tires verses those people that prefer 30 psi. I like to feel the road, not every crack, but I want to be confident about the feedback I'm getting from the steering wheel and my body as I go into a turn. This strengthens that "40 psi Feel" that I like and may not be so great for the crowd that is attached to a relatively soft ride in stock trim. This definately firmed up the movement over bumps, although I can't think of a way to describe it to you. Basically, if you purchase this mod to improve how your car rides - you're headed in the wrong direction.

Now if you're investing your money with the intention to hit corners at speeds you never have before, now we're talking. It keeps the car flatter in the turn and gives you confident feedback, not just that you can hold the turn, but that if your rear-end starts coming loose you'll have solid feedback and it won't get squirrely on you. When my MM's rear started coming around I used to correct it and the rear would get traction, lose it, and get it again. I would be tossed around the seat. With the Metco arms I can lose the rear end - and either hold it by applying slightly more throttle and drift or let off and correct the steering without getting thrown around my seat. Just a real solid feeling.

These mods are on my extended to-do list.

Great write up too.

If you haven't installed the Addco sway bars I highly recommend it. Very good addition to the upgraded rear control arms and Watts link.

Great pics! I like the placing fo the stock next to the new ones. Easy to see the Metcos are beefier.

Priceless.
This is where Zack comes in to promote the Mac and Zack control arms, eh Zack? Like I said before, there are those that like to feel the road more and those that want it absorbed. I can only speak for myself, not anyone else, but I like to get that feel of the road and be confident about how my car is going to react when I push the envelope. Not saying your control arms with the rubber bushings are bad, but I would prefer the poly bushings for a sharper response. Rubber absorbs and the polyurethane does not have anywhere to really go and that is the feeling I want for my car when I'm holding an off ramp.

Jason, you are the first person to say this. I knew it all along, no one spoke up but you.
Thanks.
