Alex - Welcome aboard.:welcome:
The 300A and 300B pertain to the 2003 Marauders.
There are several threads about this.
The main difference is that the 300A's (US) didn't have traction control were as the 300B's do.
There were also several options deleted from the 300B, such as the fullsize spare, remote fuel door, remote parking brake release, pockets on the front bucket seats + several others.

Does the 300b really have the 4R75W? Or is that just '04 300Bs

No such thing as an '04 MM 300B .... they are all 300A's (but have the '03 MM 300B contents). :D

All Marauders were Canadian Made... However some were made for Canadian sale.
2003 US cars were 300A until Job2 which was 300B. The decontenting for the Job2 units included all Panthers... Crown Vics and Grand Marquis.
300 B US Marauders traded essentially the full sized spare and unpolished aluminum wheel for a temp spare and added traction control...
The Canadian units for 2003 were all 300B.
All 2004 Marauders are 300A... Job 1 for 2004.
The phasing in of the Job 2 for 300B 2003 units was done as parts ran out.
So you hear of some folks who got partial decontented 300Bs. The main changes were the Spare Tire, the masking in the windshield, the separate clock, the remote fuel fill door, the automatic e brake release, the seat pockets in the front of the buckets and the traction control. The colors where phased in haphazardly... Black, Silver Birch and "glowing blue" for 2003 and the phase out of blue and the addition of DTR dark toreador red for 2004'
The heated seats and the sunroof came in as Lear was able to produce the seats and when Crown (down the road from STAP) started cutting the roofs for the Grand Marquis and the CrownVic.
There were a bunch of other little changes like the elimination of the underhood light and three to two for the rear bumper surround bottom brackets and the Stainless Tips with and without resonators and the tranny upgrade and I believe a different torque convertor for 2004.
The sunroof made the overhead console design change from long to short and the list goes on...
My 2006 Crown Vic P71 is decontented just like the 04 marauder even to the elimination of the nice folder for the owner's manual and the plastic engine cover...
Above is just from my memory from reading this list for 3 years.. there are of course many more ideosyncrasies which were slipped in to the production as time went on.
