OK, I was playing around on the net yesterday and came across a page on Precision Industries home page that has a ton of articles on their converters... Bottom line, it appears as if the magazines saw around a 40 horsepower increase, and a full half second off the 1/4 on a Mustang...

These numbers are consistent with my seat of the pants numbers on my car.

If you want check out these links....

1/2 second increase with just TC.

I know I sound like a fawning convert, I am... you need to buy this torque converter.

I would suggest you send precision industries your dyno and build sheet (gears, tires, etc) and have them custom build one for you. Although your distributor, Kenny, Dennis etc., may be able to get one custom made for you.

Now, what stall is this? I thought we'd be looking for a 3500, but some have been using a PI which is 2800? I know the actual stall is subjective to the motor itself, but...

I think stall is something that depends on your car and what your goals are, I think I have a 3200...

regardless, its pretty impressive results... I want to follow up with Sarge and see if he got redyno'd didn't make sense that he didnt see any performance increase.
