Help, wipers won't move

Long story short is these have a nut that will loosen up to keep from stripping the motor if caught in ice. (don't ask) Anyone know how to get to the nuts? Of course its snowing so I can't just take it to the local dealer.

Start with popping the hood and removing the bolts and screws for the cowl, its all there. Good luck

Ok, thanks Rider, the wrench at my local FLM made it sound simpler than that. I feel to cruddy to mess with it today. I'll just take it over when it stops snowing. Thanks again.

Turns out the transmission fell apart and broke. Fixed under warranty.
