This is kinda related to the question about how the calling cards are working -- but a little more broader in scope. How did you find out about MercuryMarauder.Net?

Previous Owner. Al was kind enough to clue me in when I called to ask him about the car before buying. He did good for me. You folks form your own opinion, of course; on how good it was for you. Dennis:D

Was fairly active over on the .org sight. Then one day they had a link to the infamous stolen-crashed Marauder. I clicked, browsed a little and joined. I ain't been right since.

Googled when I decided my next car was going to be a MM.
Tried the .org site, but little action there...still check on it occasionally though.

I don't know why I vote other not shown. :banghead: But anywho when the Marauder was a concept then a reality, I Googled "Mercury Marauder" and this site came up. I checked it out but never registered cause I didn't have a Marauder. So I trolled for a few years till I got my '04 last Jan.

bought mine. Did a search online for parts and forum to ask questions cause the car didn't have an owners manual. once I read around I purchased a Xcal as 1st official mod and then a k&n to replace my homemade one.

I was a member of CVnet when I had my CV. One of the posts I was reading mentioned MMnet so I decided to check it out. I joined in Nov '04 but lurked for several months before posting.

I was researching Crown Vic mods on cv.net and the like. Saw reference to Mercury Marauder. Googled it some reading reviews, etc. Bought one. Several months later after purchase I finally ran across this site while googling.

I read an article in either Hot Rod or Car Craft magazine about the Florida Highway Patrol Marauders. They listed Reinhart automotive as a source for parts. I went there first and found this place.

I was hoofing about looking for new car prospects in '02 and was really bored one day when I searched blindly for "performance sedan under $30,000" and got a vague reference to a MM. (The original MM price was supposed to be $29,9xx)
"Mercury WHAT?!" I exclaimed, out loud, to my screen. Then I came here after typing mercurymarauder.com.

With a car as cool as the Marauder, I just assumed there was a club and a web site... so when I began my search to purchase one, I did a Yahoo and Google search and voila- here I am. (And I appreciate everything I have learned in just a few short months- I purchased my car just before Christmas and have already replaced the oil pressure guage, installed a factory spoiler, acquired a badgeless grille from Zack, purchased a Marauder leather jacket, completed the lower grille mod (looks terrific) replaced all my speakers, fixed the subwoofer and even purchased a Porter Cable buffer based on comments from this site.)
Thanks to this site, and the great people I have met, I hope for a long affiliation and a lot of future mods...

I am generally a Ford enthusiest and followed the MM from a distant point of view. Until I saw one in person. I did a search while waisting time one night.
That was August 2004. I bought the MM on 10/28/04. Yup, I am a recovered lurker also.
And here I am.
Googled Mercury Marauder.

My '95 SHO died at a convenience store. While waiting for AAA to come drag it away I went inside and bought a car mag... I think it was Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. Read an article on a national meet and saw a snapshot of a bunch of guys smiling next to a MercuryMarauder.net banner.
Got car towed, got ride home. Turned on computer. Liked site. Liked seeing so many people crazy about a car. Couldn't find anything like it for the Lincoln LS. Reviewed repair bills and put SHO up for sale!

I really have no idea how I found it. I remember reading posts on here and knowing about the site. I think I just tried www.mercurymarauder.com and got it. It's funny I remember reading about the dealer in texas that had a ton on their lot and selling them heavily discounted. I remember reading about a member who won a supercharger but had just purchased one. I now know that was Rick. I also remember reading about octane debates and one member who his wife had a marauder and had had 87 all the time with no problem. I know who this user is by his sig, can't remember his name right now. But it's funny that I remember reading about this groupd and now I am a part of it.
