Can somebody break down for me the exact location of the A/C components
on the pass. side of the firewall?

This is yet another chapter on the continuing saga of my front end squeaks. It's been suggested to me that the evaporator or condenser might not have been remounted/retightened properly when I had the warranty work done back in December...as I've parted ways with the stealership that did the work, I'm trying to figure out on my own where the loose part is.

Could really use some ideas here...

The loose part may be under the cowl piece (big plastic part that the wiper arm mounts go through); I had to replace the clips/one bolt on that piece this last weekend. I'm thinking they were left off at reassembly...

Maybe for test purposes, you could attach a bungee cord or two to the evaporator case or the a/c lines over to the fender to 'preload' them and drive it normally for a day. It may help to narrow down where the noise is coming from.
I feel for you! I hate noises as well. HTH

The evaporator case is where the 2 A/C lines fron the compressor & condensor enter next to the blower motor (I think). The case is an oblong lack plastic piece that is almost perdendicular to the firewall.

This is kinda small, but I hope it helps!
