Mirror turn signals

I'd like to have amber turn signal lights in my outside rear view mirror housings so drivers to the side and in front of me could see them -- I'm not too concerned about drivers to the rear since our tail lights are as big as a human head. Anybody know of any aftermarket solution or another Ford product that would work?:bandit:

If you want a set that faces towards the cars in front of you, you might want to look into something like these.

I think I read somewhere that you can wire them into your turn signals. And you should be able to get the lenses in amber.

I think I read somewhere that you can wire them into your turn signals. And you should be able to get the lenses in amber.The ones I've seen are "white", "clear" lenses with amber LED's in them. I hunted high and low last night and couldn't find the site.

Yes, those are the ones. Like DJ said, make sure you get the heated ones. Whoever does the install make sure to be careful replacing the mirror glass. There is a part that is very fragile on the mirror housing itself. The tech that did mine broke the swival piece that holds the mirror. They had to order a new piece from the dealer.
