Tell me about tuning for a 3500 Stallion.

I have it, but haven't installed it yet.

I guess I can run it without a special tune. But I've seen posts about futzing with the lock-up on tune. What is that?

No special tuning is required when installing a PI Stallion TC.

You can change a number of tranny setting with a chip/HHP tune, even with the stock TC, including lock-up.

Once you install the new TC, drive it a while and seek out you own personal settings, then reset your options?

The only tune I had done was to not unlock the converter in OD.
With the converter installed cruising along at 50-75mph you may find when pulling out to pass that the converter unlocks in OD the RPM will jump to 3000-3500rpm,but no real rush of power.If you click off OD you will find the car "takes off" in 3rd at the same RPM.

You,and others ,may be ok with this but it drove me up the wall!
