I think you'd want to stain it... Look through JCW for VinalBrite. It's what I used to restain my Lincoln's top, works GREAT!

You could ask the dealer, they will have the right color.

The interior colors are standard colors for the GM, therefore the parts dept should be able to order the paint or dye, whatever it is, for touch-up work.

I really hate it that I have to disagree here, but I have to disagree anyway. Seems to be what I do here.

I stopped by a custom stereo/alarm shop last week, asked their pro about the prospects for hidden switches, and so on. Nevermind what he thinks about hidden switches, he found some dash trim "changes," "Blems" he called them. He pointed to specific blems as being repaired, or, "painted over."

I agree that these blems were present at delivery, I saw them everyday, but didn't pay them much attention. Pro went on to say that he sees blems often. Front seats are added to the car after the dash panels, and sometimes, the computer controlled lift/insert tool burps. He said there could be likewise scratches all over the car, but a touch up team is supposed to attend to them.

I admit that I had noticed this blem, it looks like something was spilled on the dot matrix panel just left of the steering column, where the pedal adjust switch is.

I saw it, and I thought I had spilled coffee, or my morning OJ, and I kept telling myself that I have to point this out to Zeus, ask him to attend to these spots, but I didn't get to that. Now, this pro, "Ted," says that my dash was damaged, and repainted at the factory. Hmmm...

My point here is, the dash paint doesn't match either. Unless you are willing to live with stains that look like spilled coffee or juice, the repair paint will disappoint you.

Rather than argue about trim questions 10 months after I accepted my MM, I ordered a new panel. 46 bucks, I'm a wimp, I know, save your comments. Just seemed the easier thing to do, k? Pop out the old, pop in the new, blem gone.

Dash paint does not match, and that's from the production line, k?

Mac, put the blem panel up on eBay. Recover a bit of the $46 anyway.
