Help!
Squeek-Squeek-----Squeek-Squeek
I have changed them twice and still.....squeek!
This has never happened before and never a sound with
several changes.
When they reach the turn around point on either side
they make a loud squeek. It gets louder if I put them on fast.
Have any of you had this problem or had to take apart the
control arm bushings under the cover above the firewall?
Any thoughts???

Are the wipers making the noise on the windshield? Or is it the mechanical joint that is squeeking?

Thank You All,
Now it comes and goes.
Sometimes it's squish, squish or chirp, chirp.
I think it's the wiper blades themselves.
I have changed the rubber inserts twice.
I use the ANCO blade and perhaps the
main connection hole is off after 2yrs.
Like the Anco because it has 8 pressure points
and always looks good with the blk. finish.
Anyway lots more rain is coming and more time to test.

Wet a cloth with some Son Of A Gun and run it along the rubber, cured my wipers of chatter and sqeak going on three months now.
I hate "CHATTER"

I wipe my blades and windows with rubbing alcohol. The alcohol removes any wax/polish that may have gotton on your glass.

For the past 10 yrs. as a rep covering the Northeast i can't count how many sets of blades I put on my Lincoln ( Anco,Trico, Tripple Edge ect.) The best yet have been RainX wipers, more expensive but worth every penny. There smooth, quiet and clean better that any I have tried in the past. Give them a try.

What chain sells them? Not too many choices here.
