Does anyone know where to get a cowl scoop that will fit our 98+ panthers???
Has anyone done this already???
If so, pics please
I would prefer a smooth (no center ridge), bolt on (one that has an inner mounting flange), steel cowl no more than 2.5 inches tall.
I have come across a few fiberglass fox body mustang scoops on the internet, but I'm not sure if they would be big enough.

So nobody has bolted on a cowl style scoop to a 98+ panther?
Or knows where to find a steel one?

Some one photo shopped one onto a Marauder here a while ago. Do a search and maybe thread says what it came from.

There's been some work published here, one guy had Gator Customs put a lighted Cobra style c. 1972 hood scoop on his Marauder. Do a search.

... does anyone know where to find a bolt on cowl scoop in steel?
Like I said in an earlier post I have come across fiberglass scoops, but not a steel one.

I have looked and not found one.
I have an idea to make one, it may become my winter project if I don't get the bug to work on my 68 Fastback some more.
Mine would involve welding and cutting and smoothing finishing and painting and.... well alot more work then a bolt on. But when it snows, what else do you do? Wack at Piniatas?

Of impalas.
Hey, maybe a scoop for an older caprice would work. I've seen plenty in da hood.

I found these two universal "steel" scoops on carhoods.com.
One with a ridge and one smooth. $149 each.
