I'm seeing a new glitch this morning. Boss man must have been fiddling with forum settings. If you enter the site using just the domain name as URL (no file name):

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/

You get redirected to:

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/profile.php

which throws a 404 Not Found.

However, if you come in using this path:

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/index.php

everything is fine.

Indeed. It's happening to me right now. I type in the MM.Net address, the home page flashes, then to the "page not found", adding "profile.php" to the command line. I remove that addition, and the home page pops up like nothing is wrong.

Next?

Same problem first logging in this morning. Can't duplicate it now.

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/index.php is my bookmark.

I get the same error if I refresh the screen. If I just go to www.mercurymarauder.net all is good.

OK so what's going on? I use MM.net as my bookmark, get 404 Not found, redirects to mm.net/profile/php, then click the mm.net in the 404 and everythings fine?? But use the mm.net from the site and nothings wrong. Puter's are strange animals. :toss:

This is the EXACT same problem I was having a few weeks ago. It started all of a sudden, and ended a week later just as suddenly.

It is happening to me now as well.

Pics: when posting in a topic click the image that has amountain on it to post a pic from the net and the paper clip symbol to browse from your hard drive.

Thanks STLR FN, I used your tips and successfully gave an informative follow-up about the 'hood squeak' issue with a photo!! Everyone should check it out. My fix looks better than OEM.

Fixed.... Should no longer redirect incorrect. It's the auto-DST time correction that was messing it up.

Yes, I had the same thing happen early this morning. Seems to be OK now.
