Did You Buy a MM. in 2002...do you still own it???

If you bought a Marauder in 2002, I would like to know if you still own the car. Are you glad you still have it, or is it a case of good riddance???

I am trying to get an insight on a couple of things, how many folks feel the car is a keeper and also how many members from the early days are still around and check in from time to time.

There are no good or bad guys here, ok? This is just to get an idea who has moved on and who is still around; car wise and membership wise.

Bill Karrow and I both purchased our Marauders the first week of June 2002. I went on to build my Marauder on my own, Bill engaged Kenny Brown to build the first ever supercharged Marauder, the "1x" Marauder of Car and Driver and AutoWeek fame.

Just about a year later, in May of '03, I sold my Marauder (to CarMax) and bought Bill's #1x through Kenny Brown. I still own this wonderful automobile, and my first Marauder is now owned by our friend and member here, "Austin-tatious".

In December of 2005, I bought my third Marauder, my beloved bone stock silver birch 300B Marauder, my "#3" car.

I've said it before here, I may change VINs, but I will always own a Marauder.

Took delivery of mine July 2nd 2002. I think mine was the first one in Southern California. Have 46,000 on it now. I'm thinking of buying something else this summer so I don't keep rackin up the miles on it.

Bought mine in August 2002, still own it and love every one of the 86756 miles I put on it!

John I went to member list and clicked on "Join Date" it gives you a list that starts with Logan and I just followed the pages (50 entries per page) to page 7 were less than half-way thru the join date changes to 2003.

Maybe list is incomplete or Logan has purged it, I joined in Sept. 2002 and my number is 248. Maybe Mary or Logan can explain discrepancy.:D Javier
