I have been a member there for some time and was even lucky enough to have lunch last September with the founder of BITOG, Bob Winters. Like any online forum it has its nitwits and troublemakers, but there are a lot of very knowledgeable people, many of whom are oil- and filter-industry professionals, including Terry Dyson who knows more about oil analysis than just about anyone...

I'm also a member. They got me hooked on GC (German Castrol) and I can't pass an AZ (Auto Zone) without stopping in to see if they have any GC (Green) or the newer GC (Gold).
Do not go to that site. You may get hooked like many of the members.

Well I read some of the info and it offers many other points of view as to how oil actually protects your engine and what to do and not do....Much like the info Mac was gathering using different weights of oil!!
We ran down to Palm Coast, FL yesterday and I was watching my oil pressure and coolant temps and noticed at a constant 75 MPH in 90* heat the pressure was 55-60 PSI and coolant was 193*-197* and I have a 180* thermostat from Dennis??
Wonder what the pressure might be with 5W20 or even 0W20??
