CAR Motorsports is now working on our next project - Fender Emblems. Our initial thoughts are to use our smaller 2.25 inch God's Head Emblem and to create a new MARAUDER word that could be used below the God's Head Emblem, or by itself. We also are making a related emblem that will be an S/C to denote Supercharged for those so equipped. This emblem can be used with or without the Marauder word emblem. It could be used on the sail panels or the rear. Having it separate gives you many options. Here's where we need your help. On the MARAUDER word emblem, our options are (1) a plate/badge with the MARAUDER word (See attached photo), (2) the MARAUDER word connected but in a cutout word style (See attached Integra emblem pic), or (3) the MARAUDER word in completely separate letters (8 total letters - like the rear fascia) (no pic attached).

Please let us know which your thoughts/preferences on the 3 options.

Thanks,

Alan

I already have the beautiful Logan supplied badges as seen in my avatar.:coolman:

Whatever you come up with I would consider purchasing as a collector's item for the Marauder.

Nah. Badges like that don't look good on these cars.

I think the separate letters would be nice. A creative owner could change the kerning or stagger the kerning for the look of speed. I think I would use such a badge possibly on the inside of the car.

Thanx for your interest in our cars. We do appreciate the attention and options.

Both the Badge Plate and the Individual letters strike me as the nicest fit for our Marauders. I guess it depends on which era we want to mymic. The individual letters would look real nice. Either way, they'll be exceptional.

I can imagine M A R A U D E R on the sail panels.

Thanx for your interest in our cars. We do appreciate the attention and options.:agree: and :concur:. It's all about having people rubber necking to see what kind of car it is that and keeping the car as clean looking as possible. I'm not saying badges de-face the car or anything it's just my person pref especially with this car to keep is clean, simple and smooth looking. I think CAR Motorsport Gods Head emblems really set the car off and gave it that little more eye-catch that it should of had from factory. I would be interested in a set of both number 1 and number 2 style. Number 1 style I would use inside the car to accent and number 2 style I would put on my painted OEM coil covers once I have the valve covers painted.

One additional thing to keep in mind is that a Marauder emblem could be used on the trunk lid beneath the God's Head Emblem (as opposed to the Fenders) or on the sail panels as another member suggested (with or without the small God's Head Emblems).

We are trying to give people options for customizing/badging their cars and doing so in a unique way. The current Marauder fender badges seem nice, but if everyone has them installed, then there's a bit of uniqueness lost between each car. With a Marauder word emblem, God's Head badge, S/C emblem, owners will have more options. A supercharged Marauder owner could put the S/C badge on the fender or the Sail Panel area by itself to subtly denote the extra power. It could be used in combination with a MARAUDER word emblem with S/C above, below or beside the word. The Marauder word could be used alone on the fender or above or below the small 2.25" God's Head Emblem. Lots of options for owners that will let them still keep their car's looking unique.

The operative word here is....Modern....that is the idea behind both the CAR Motorsports Custom Gods Head Emblems and the Maruader Word Emblem we are now designing. Keeping in theme with the 2003-2004 vehicle not retro moving to the old 60s look; we are keeping it smooth, smooth, smooth....that is the again the idea for the Word Emblem. Low and smooth with a finish that will duplicate the jewlery/high end look of the Gods Head Emblems. Seamless integration is the terminology we employ when outfitting a vehicle such as yours. SEMA Show application is the criteria by which we design the complete emblem package. Enjoy the ride as this "one off" accessory is designed for your Marauder. The flexibility in usage will be unparalleled and limited only by your imagination for application/placement.

With that being said, the individual letters would bring it back to the late 60's early 70's, so I must change my vote to Integrated Badge style.

I would do 8 separated letters, and mount them on the rear quarters,
right above the rear cover, parallel to the bumper line.
Sorta like the IMPALA SS emblem that Chevy mounted on their quarters.

The only other mounting place I can think of, would be on the rear spoiler edge.

Joe, Your modern Marauder has the individual letter embrossed on the rear bumper. Staying in theme with that modern appearance coupled with the smoothness, simplicity of presentation and flexibility of location usage; the individual letters, while significatly more involved to produce are the more all encompassing solution. Remember, badges detract from movement of an emblem. Clearly, it is desireable to have non-movement badging on the front and rear of a vehicle and movement logo designs on the side/viisual movement area of the vehicle. Keep that slick Maruader movement going....we work through these issues day in day out. If the group really desires badge style Marauder wording then we will certainly produce that. It would reduce the flexibility of location quite a bit. A final thought is that your floor mat wording will duplicate the Marauder Word on the Bumper, therefore a seamlessly integrated appearance between those items and this new offering seems a logical choice. Keep the input coming....

I like both ideas... Individual for out side and the one piece word inside... somewhere...
