Some time ago I posted my lengthy wish list of mods and indicated that I had a local dealer doing them for me.
I reported that I had been put on a waiting list at Vortech for them to fabricate a kit from my car.
When I was ordering my driveshaft from Dennis last week, he inquired why I was wasting my money on a driveshaft without doing other mods such as the gears and chip.
I told him I already had the gears and I didn't need the chip as Vortech was gonna make me a supercharger.
To very loosely paraphrase, Dennis told me not to hold my breath and somebody was blowin' smoke!
He gave me the name and # of a guy at Vortech to call to verify (or not ) what I had been told.
Well, unfortunately, after checking it out, the guy at Vortech got back to me after a few days and said that they have no immediate plans to fabricate a kit for the Marauder, and if they were to decide to do it, it would probably be many months before they would get to it.
Bummer man!
I called Dennis back to say "You told me so". He said to just hang tight, he is working on a S/C kit. In the meantime...my chip, plugs and stat are on the way!
