I'm now at 30k and ready to do a trans service. For those of you that have done your own trans service, do we or do we not have a TC drain plug?
Also: Does anyone know the Motorcraft p/n for our trans filter (2004 MM)? My local Ford parts dealer can't find a listing for Marauder- go figure!
I'd rather go with OEM than the brands carried by Auto Zone and Advance.

We do NOT have a torque converter drain plug, and like Mac said, your local Ford parts dealer needs a refresher course...the transmission in the Marauder is the same as every other Crown Vic/Grand Marquis made in the last 12 years...
BTW, the Motorcraft p/n is FT-105. NAPA filters are made by Wix and are also of excellent quality...the Wix number is 58955.

Thanks for the info guys. I stopped by the local L/M dealer this morning and he didn't have a specific listing for the Marauder trans strainer either, but did have enough knowledge about him to mention that it was the same part number as the CV & GM, then he suggested I cruise on over to the local Ford dealer supply house/Motorcraft wholesaler and buy one from them because they were about half the price of his dealer price. <-- Now that's good dealer service- at least from the parts counter!
So I did!
