Hey everyone, I just got some new tires for the Beast, they are Pirelli Scorpion STR's, 255-55-18 in the rear and 255-50-18 for the front. They are not soft compound racer tires like stock but these feel smoother on the road than the goodriches that came off. By the way, about those BFG's. I was going to save the front tires to use as spares, they were only worn on the insides as we all know, but, when the guy at Belle tire called me into the garage area and asked me if I was sure I wanted the tires I asked him why, he then showed me both front tires , still aired up and on the rims, completely dry rotted and split at least 1/2 way around the tire on the inside. So guys, if you still have the originals on your car please check the insides of the tires for safety's sake. The outsides of mine still looked new so I would have never known what could have caused an accident.

Thanks for the heads up. Mine look fine at 49K, aside from being bald on the insides. I'm due for new shoes all around.
