I noticed the tape is pulling off near the drivers side edge of the rear spoiler, now I have a hairline crack in the spoiler. Has anyone's factory spoiler start pulling away like this.

Not mine. Are you sure whoever installed your spoiler used all 4 of the supplied bolts? I've heard stories of installers using just the tape, or only using 2 bolts. With all the bolts installed there should be no way for the spoiler to move or bend.

You need to slow down, dude, you're ripping body parts off the car.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I just had an OEM spoiler installed by Ford dealer, they warranty their work for as long as I own the car. I really needed the spoiler to keep the rear end down when I go past 160 or so. It was a NEED, not a WANT. :D

6th. largest Ford Dealer in the world, they say. They installed my spoiler, got it a little off center and a bit crooked. Good paint match. When it came time to install Zack's LED Creation I removed the original and discovered that the reason the the left end seemed to be seperating a little from the body was that there was only 3 screws holding it. The install monkey had mis drilled the access hole inside the trunk lid and there was no way to get a socket on the screw head. Nice! I wonder why they bother to print templates. Anyway I had to get the hole saw out and butcher up the inside of the trunk lid to get the 4th screw installed. You may find the same scenerio? good luck Dennis:beer:

I have a gap on driver's side. All four bolts in. I even added large washers and longer bolts to make up for the washers. I beleive the center bolts are torqued tighter and causing the tip to lift up.

You can't trust these dealers doing a good job. They are reading the instructions just like us. I installed my own spoiler, took my time measured about 10 times and drilled once, it came out perfect, no gaps and no cracks.

If I'm going to let some idiot drill holes in my trunk lid, I would prefer that idiot would be me. Not a dealer idiot charging me 250+. :)

thanks for the info, I'll check, part of me was thinking it was a not so good dealer install and lots of highway miles.
