Had a blast as usual, despite some not so perfect weather on Saturday. Didn't win anything, but heard some good stuff. The announcer came out and admitted he liked Marauders, albeit second best to Mustangs. Had a few other Marauders show up also. Good to see all the guys.

Good to see you there Paul! After the weather on Saturday, it was a great day for racing on Sunday. Has a small "twister" come through the car show on Sunday though!.

So how did you do, Steve?

I ran a 11.53 @120.27, a 11.61 @118.42, a 11.80 @121.19, and a 11.59 @110.52 (braked hard to keep from "breaking out, but broke out anyway) but in retrospect, if I had known I was that fast I would have kept my foot in in for the last 100 yards and been in the VERY low 11's.

Like I told you when we were together, you ran great times!

I told you, a true racer will never hit the brakes! :D

One of my favorite lines of the weekend was right after Shankin ran The Pass he pops out of the car and says "did the guy with the crazy hair see that?"

Hey, I'm still giggling at it myself. For those who don't know, my hair is somewhat long, and pretty much does what it wants. I cut it about every 2 years and donate it to "Locks for Love." They in turn make wigs for kids going through chemotherapy. Hopefully, someday, I'll see some kid with "crazy hair."

WOW!!!

You're cookin' now. Don't forget, 11.49 is the roll cage point.

Absolutely great times Steve:banana2: ! Brian, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe with our cars we only need a roll bar (not a full cage) and harness below 11.49 until we reach the 10's.

Good to see you there Paul, Steve and Marty. Steve - great runs and a beautiful looking engine. Marty has some impressive news to share. Paul - I thought you looked different. Great time for all.

True, a roll bar instead of a cage is ok. I forgot about the 5-point harness.
