He sourced out the driving to me on the 10.63 pass!
He did drive it to a 11.11 himself. I will say this on the 1st nitrous pass he stabbed it and john forced the tires for about 900 feet! I was proud!!!!!

Martyo,

You know I was not into drag racing until we started this supercharger thing, I left drag racing to people like Lidio and many others. Now I find myself driving across the country to go to drag racing events. What's happening to me?

Then I wasn't interested in being the fastest Marauder, I left that to people like Dave, Mike, BillyG, Shakes, etc. I would laugh every week when Dave or Mike would call and say I am done making mods to my car, "I like it the way it is!" Then the next week they would call me and say I going to add this improvement, and maybe another new trick. I would laugh everytime they called. Now I am buying racing radiators, control arms, Detroit Locker rear ends, Nitrous, Chillers, etc., etc. What is happening to me!!!!!

Then Mike runs my car and sets the new 1/4 record. I felt like my kids graduated from Harvard!!!! I was so proud and excited!!!! I felt like a teenager again!!! Another very strange thing is happening, it feels like a serious drug addiction!!!! Son of a B!tch!!!! It's consuming me!!!!!

THEN, some good guy in the Marauder forum(that's you Marty) beats my record, I mean Mike's record, and now this Marauder thing is consuming my life!!!!!!!! I can't stop myself!!!!! Strip the car, Moser axles, forged bottom end, more powerful superchargers, etc. etc. I AM OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!!

This is causing me much anxiety!!!! I will not go broke buying Diet Mountain Dew for a guy I have never met!!!! You have given me a challenge I must never stop pursuing!!!!!

I want my Diet Coke!!!!!!!!!!

I am really enjoying this competition. You are a great friend and competitor.

Never rest. Never stop pushing me. Never stop raising the bar.

I too only got back into all of this when I bought the MM (on a lark I might add). Damn this mid-life crisis is consuming and costly!

I am having the time of my life. I met a great group of people who have become friends and clients. Who would have thought/

Meanwhile when Jeff (Shankin here) put my cars into the 10s I had a lump in my throat and was hugging him like he just gave birth to my first child!

Come to Atlanta in November and run at SSHS6 with me -- no designated drivers! Now that my friend will be a match up worth wagering some sodas on!!

P.S. We met in Texas at MVI. And, I wear my Trilogy jacket with pride based on our friendship!

Marty,

I apologize! I forgot I met you. I have met so many people at the Marauder meets, I cannot remember everyone. I am in my Mid 50's and my mid life crisis, so it is easy to forget things! By the way, I am on my 20th year of my mid-life crisis and I am loving it!

I will definately try to make the November get together. Are you going to MVIV? Maybe we can hook up there?

Donna has been very busy, but she will call next week to get the Diet Mountain Dew to you. I would not want you to get thirsty.

I spoke to Steve Babcock today and told him of your new record. He was obviously very impressed. He said to say "Hi!".

I am still trying to figure out how to view the video. I really want to see it!

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW WORLD RECORD!!!!!!!

Keep pushing me Buddy, I am coming!

Thank you.

I'm determing what I have to do to beat you!

Of course, I have added no power or traction adders to my car beyond what you see below.

I'm now taking the next step by having my rims widened. This took me three years since I got my car from Kenny Brown.

At this rate of progress I will be dead before I even get near you. But I like to dream anyway. So let's continue with my dream.

Am I correct to say that you use an equivalent of 100 hp from 'nitrous' gas?

Would you say that that any other power adders since this last dyno would not add more than 10% either in hp or torque?
