does the trans have to come all the way out to remove factory convertor, or can it be pulled back on longer bolts like in cars of days long past?:stupid:

I understand that the PI needs some "help" when installed.

Yep, like a sledgehammer.

I just installed mine last night and I am not sure if I really like it yet. I mean ya its a little better off the line. Maybe its my tunning, Idunno??? Other than that it seems to not shift as hard as i used to also. Crossmember is a Mother F. to get out.

The guys at P.I. told me that it would be best (if at all possible) to take the trans completely out and stand it on end because of the fit on the input shaft which is a lot tighter than the factory converter (tolerance wise).:o
