Mine broke, so I went to Ford and got a new one (10 bucks not bad) but does anyone know how to get the old buttton out? Its not the chrome piece, that broke off its the shaft that goes into the shifter head.
Thankyou!
The collar around the shifter slides downward with sufficient force, exposing 2 torx bolts.

Yeah be careful when you take the shifter knob off. The little springs in there are under tension and will !SPROING! real good if you let them. Ask me how I know. :D
