"I need a tune up or it would have been all over" was what I was told earlier tonight after a reluctant Mustang driver and his lady friend came to face the beast we all know and love.....the Mercury Marauder.
Returning from a great Italian feast, celebrating the realization of the vision of the Black Mesh wheels on my Black beast (yes they are on and man I love them) on a deserted strip of some highway I cannot name for known reasons, I encounter a 2001 or 2002 Black Mustang GT convertable. Unbenounced to me but observed by the wife, the Mustang driver attemped to get my attention buy "goosing it." After being brought to my attention, I kindly illustrated to him what goosing was.
At this point I thought this encounter was over but it just happens we are going the same way, so the Mustang driver tries is luck again, this time I see it coming. He pulls up, and gooses it again. I acknowledge the joust and unleashed the full fury of my beast, the Darkside. Even with the car length and head start, I enjoyed the look of WFT!!! as I shot past and pulled for about a quarter. I later ran into that same driver and his best Defense of his car's performance or lack there of was ..."I need a tune up." My response..."yeah....OK."
(This encounter was purely fictional. No laws or feelings were broken or hurt buy this little narrative) :cool4:
