I know on houses they have what is refered to "Full Disclosure." I just wonder if there is something like that for cars, concerning warrenty work, especialy if they are sold as "New."

This is usually regulated by the various states. Check with the Secretary of State's office in the state of the dealer(s) you are talking to for any "lemon laws" on the books of that specific state, e.g. " www.sos.tx.us/ ".
Also the "Better Business Bureau" of the community the dealer is located within should have a history of reports on most all licensed businesses within that commiunity available for your inspection/information.
And, of course, I am a great believer/doer in "VOTING WITH YOUR FEET (and POCKETBOOK)" as mentioned elsewhere here by the "the proud, the few . . . . the marauder owners of mercurymarauder.net", i.e. do your shopping "out of town" for your MARAUDER, and other goods and services, especially when the pricing, features and specifications, quality, servicing and performance records/information is readily available on the 'net (not to mention most stuff nowadays is manufactured/assembled elsewhere).
Good hunting!

MAD, as far as warranty work no worries 'cause it's out there for all to see(especially if have access to OASIS)........
but as far as pre-delivery damage there's a dollar limit and I hear it's 'pretty high'....I don't know if that means hundreds or thousands

It just upsets me that I wasn't told about it when I signed the deal. :mad2: :fire:

In Oregon, the limit is $400. However, my local awesome body shop says that if the dammage is more than $400, the dealer will often assign several P.O. #'s to the car, in effect making several "small repairs" that are less than $400 each. Doing this they do not have to disclose the dammage to the customer.
