Has anyone put in 411 rear end gears? I ran the car once (stock) and it ran 15.2/98 mph. The car seemed to be lacking right off the line because of the big tires and regular rear end gear. How much improvement might it make in the quarter mile going to the 411 gears? Also, how do you reprogram the speedometer/miles for this correction? Another thing I'm wondering about, is the driveshaft OK (it has an aluminum one in it from the factory)?...it's an 04 Marauder. Would this be the best bang for the buck? Thanks!

In the future..... the search button helps a lot. lol!

Many many people have 4.10s in the Marauder.http://www.innovativeinterceptors.com/ has all the parts you need and free shipping, just make sure to let Wes know you are a member here at MM.net.

You do not need a spedo gear. All the spedo corrections are done with an SCT tuner or a Diablo Motorsports tuner. Your choice. I use SCT and I love it.
You can go to Lidio for tunes.....

or Rienhart
http://www.reinhartautomotive.com/

I personally use Lidio and perfer him since I've had the oppurtunity to meet him personally but either vendor should be qualified. The only thing you should know is that 4.10s will cause a fair ammount of drivetrain vibration limiting your top safe speed to aorund 115 mph. You can get a Metal Matrix driveshaft from Rienhart for $500 and that should solve any problems you will have about top end. But you only need it if you are going to do over 100mph for an extended period of time.
