Anyone know how to remove the gas door assembly??

Mine was evidently damaged and repainted somewhere and the paint doesn't match well...It is also dented!!:argue:

I may just put on a locking aftermarket one...anyone know what fits and where to get one??:(

I may just put on a locking aftermarket one...jack, if you're talking about locking aftermarket gas CAPS, AutoZone sells them...

You could also get the parts from the dealer and convert your gas DOOR to a locking one, like on the 300As...

MarauderTJA adapted a mustang billet door to his car. Looks freakin' great. Check w/him for details.

DANG! I had one for almost two years and last month we were doing some general spring cleaning and the woman said, "What's this?" and I said "Junk! Toss it."

Sorry man. Hey, it's the womans fault anyway! :D

Check VegasMarauders' thread on how to do the remote fuel door install for directions. It's not hard.

WAIT! Why don't you go ahead and do the conversion? It costed me about $150 as I recall and I've never regretted doing it.

Plus it got me .010 off the ET and added .1 MPH! (The thumb bump adds drag.)

DAYUM! No wonder TJA is so fast! The billet has got to drop at least another .01 and .1 or .2 more!

:bows:I dunno 'bout that billet. All them screw holes look like more drag to me.

That opens the wrong way....Like a "SUICIDE GAS DOOR"??

BTW, two screws toward the front hold the door!

Went to www.fueldoors.com and Norton captured a virus from the site.....Now I can't get any response from them?? Also, NO PHONE NUMBERS??:argue:

I may just get one from a dealer and paint it myself...If I can find a rattle can of "JP" paint??

Marauderjack:help:

It was made for a '03' Mustang. The magnetic spring
would not clear the other way. I took it off because
it stood out and was a little to gaudy. I thought I
would have it painted to match and see what it looks like.
