I have never dealt with them, but their prices don't look too out of line. These are 2 here in the Midwest that I would deal with (based on reputation):

try to go for a mid 01 or maybe an 02 for the better PI heads and intake.

You could also try Southwest Pulblic Safety. They are a little pricey but the cars are in very good condition.

I've never personally bought a car from him, but I know a couple people who have and they are happy.

Also, since you're in Florida, check out www.copcarsonline.com. They're located in the Largo area. They have nice cars and even put some on ebay. They've sold a lot of B4C Camaros too from FHP. They have a white '98 P71 on ebay right now for $4,900.

You could also try www.usedcopcars.com (http://www.usedcopcars.com). They are located in Wisconsin. A friend of mine bought his car there. They have some really nice low mileage P-71's

FWIW, if you can wait, pick one up from Texas DPS direct. PM me for details. Clean Cars with Cruise, Tilt, Full Cloth, carpet, no cages installed and super clean usually. Thats where we used to buy our cars for refurb.

Bought a '97 TBird instead.
Thanks, Jim

In an effort to keep the thread alive, I'm also looking for a P71 to add to my stable as a fun daily driver.

What items should I be looking out for? I understand the 01.5 and up have newer heads that offer more performance... What are oany other difference bewtween the years, os is there a site that has each year broken down w/ difference of previous models. Overall I was thinking an '02 between 70-100k miles...

I like the cars from CopCarsOnline from LArgo, FL

I haven't bought a car from them, but they come highly recommended from a person I trust.

Actually, all 2001 models have the PI heads and intake. Trust me, I know. ;)

I went up to visit Southern-Interceptors to check out what they have and talk with them. Very Nice people and great to deal with, and I haven't bought a car yet. I'd like to pick up a nice P71 and willreport back once that happens and about my experience. So far so good, will be talking to them again...
