Maybe. Guts are welded in. Can't imagine what tool you'd get in there to grind it up.

Cost vs time ain't worth it. Work a few hours OT and just buy em!

Good luck!

Good luck! Agreed, better off to buy fresh resonator delete tips, just incase you don't like the results.

Hover your mouse over the tip while holding down the left button and hit backspace.

What is the auditory effect of deleting the resonators? More burble? More noise? With the complete Kooks its a bit dronish now. Would the delete make this worse or better? Love to hear opinions.

Yes...Your MM will be louder with resonator delete tips in place, that's why we got them in the first place.

There a half a dozen reasons why exhaust systems drone, but one of them is muffler insulation. All aftermarket mufflers have 1/2 the insulation of the OEM mufflers, that's why aftermarkets perform better.

One trick left is to extend your new resonator delete tips out past the rear cover by about an inch, inch and a half. This will move the point of drone from behind the passenger seat, into the trunk. Kinda looks neat too...

Thanks for the comments, advice and link, Serg.
So, from whence doth we source said delete tips? I've read volumes about their application now, but not from whence they come.

hey mac, i see in your pics that you have a decal of some sort on the doors of your black mm. what are they? what do they say? The smaller shield shape is "Team Panther". I'm not on that team, but my #1x Marauder is, because of Kenny Brown's membership with Ford's Team Panther effort. I got a couple of golf shirts too. The larger oval shape is from Sutton Ford, a high performance Ford dealer local to me who exclusively tunes my Marauder with SCT software. Then Zack cleans it up...LOL!

Go to..."Forums", then to "Supporting Vendors", and Innovative Interceptors is #3 among supporting vendors. There you will find a link. Better yet, just shout out for our friend/member Wes Chain, owner of...
