31 Spline Axles and Driveshaft

Hi guys, I'm curious about the 31 Spline axels and the Matrix driveshaft. I'm keeping my car N/A with all the usual bolt ons.

How would my car benefit from the 31 Spline axles or are they more suited for boosted cars?

As for the driveshaft, I know it prevent vibrations at highspeeds (good for long highway trips) but does it has benefits as far as launching the car is concerned?

I'm hoping to make it down to Dennis' place soon to have my 4.10s, TC, and tune installed and I was thinking about getting the MMDS while I'm down there. Thanks for the help!

The 31-spline axles are not needed unless you are changing to a higher performance rear tire solution, Slicks or Drag Radials. I don’t know of anyone that broke a set of axles on a N/A car. If you are going to upgrade your Limited slip then it’s time to look at the other components besides just the axles.
