I don't really have much done yet to mine just k&n drop in filter, GM coil connectors, res delete tips from Wes and 40 series flows. I've been noticing lately even at low speeds like 30-40mph if i"m lightly pushing the gas I can hear a vibration sound and when I let off the gas it goes away. I don't know if this is something that is normal and maybe I didn't notice before after I got my rear exhaust delete put on but I def can notice it now after I had oem "style" exhaust put back on. I guess maybe I should take it back to the dealer and get it checked out unless someone else had this problem and got the drive shaft loops that DR sells and it fixed the problem. I don't really notice it at high speeds but that 30-40-50mph range I do. Any thoughts?

Sounds like something in the driveline that is before the DS.

Harmonic Balancer?
Flywheel?
Torque Converter?

If your under warranty, bring'er back.

Well, if you just had the exhaust changed out, and put the Super40's on, you might just be getting vibration in the exhaust. If I recall, you didn't have mufflers before and had side-exit. The stock mufflers have balance weights on them to dampen vibration - since you didn't have stock mufflers you couldn't move the weights to the new mufflers. I'd look into that.

Also, drive shaft loop won't do anything for you, it's just a safety bit - if the driveshaft grenades it won't fall out from under the car, the loop will keep it up in the tunnel.

If this started with the next exhaust install, I'd assume it's related to that.

If you can feel it in Park with the accelerator just off idle...1500 or so RPM's it is probably the missing damper weights??:argue:

I put a dual system on my 1998 CV and the rattling vibration drove me nuts and I found out that the one from the single system was not enough so I found one from a junk yard for the left side......Problem solved!!

Good Luck!!

When I 1st got the car I had the same flowmasters that are on it now put on the OEM exhaust system and I don't recall the sound and of course with that side pipe exhaust I would of never heard it lol. It did start after I had the mufflers, res delete tips and new piping back on. The sound doesn't really bother me but I wasn't sure if it was something that was going to become a problem cause I can live with it and now that I think about it I think it is the exhaust system. I'll have to get under it and check to see where he put the hangers, I know 2 of them are where the pipe meets the tip and the guy put a rubber hanger there instead of the metal C hanger further back like on the OEM tips. Thanks for the input fella's! :D

If this started with the next exhaust install, I'd assume it's related to that. I agree, and on several points too. If the vibration goes away when you let off the throttle, it's not driveline related. That stuff doesn't go away until the car changes it's forward motion. Look at your recent install, I bet a pipe is rubbing somewhere.
