Cat Questions

I'll be back in the muffler shop to put on my new Spintech Pro-Streets and I'm wondering...we have four cats, if I get two high-flow cats can I have them make up a new pipe using two cats and as long as they weld the bungs in where they need to be will the car function fine? I won't need a tune will I?

Now this is on my F-150 but I only have two cats and no CELs or a need for a tune. How yours will fair because of the Trilogy, I have no clue but general consensus would say no need for a re-tune.

Rider you can do that no problems, its what I have, but your tune may need to turn off the rear o2 sensors as they will most likely throw a code.

Most tunes do this anyway, you can call and check with Lidio or Jerry on that.

Agreed you can do this, and your rear O2 sensors should be off already.
